Christmas Pictures

I have had the kids Wednesday, Thursday, and all day Friday. I kept them busy playing in the newly fallen snow, crafts, painting, cooking and movies. Anna picked them up for the weekend Friday evening. It was a joy to see the taillights leave! Friday I took the two kids down for pictures in their Christmas clothes. What a job to get them both ready (hair curled) and down to the store by 11:00. We were there for three hours because I couldn't deciede which pictures to get. For a bribe I told the kids I would buy them a $5.00 toy at Walmart if they were good. They were good so off to Walmart after the picture taking event. I'm glad that happens only every few years. The pictures turned out cute. The kids will give each of their parents one for Christmas.

Sunday Dinner

Tonight we had an extra treat. Not only did Anna and the grandchildren come for dinner, but Katy accepted our invite and joined us. We had a lovely dinner with London broil and the works. Then we told scary stories by the fireplace with all the lights out. Finally Miss Janie modeled her Christmas dress for us. She actually danced for us instead of being a horse like she loves to do.
